I argue that the harmony between physical properties and properties of consciousness in our world, understood in a dualist Cartesian-Leibnizian sense as involving the reliability of conscious perceptions and the reliable satisfaction of immediate conscious volitions, can be explained as an effect of anthropic selection in a suitable metaphysical multiverse. I also argue that this anthropic explanation is reasonably better than other dualist explanations of psychophysical harmony, and that it exhibits a remarkable continuity with successful explanations of other phenomena of harmony in the past.
