Consideraciones Vazferreireanas para una Disposición Epistemológica Sincera

Abstract

In the following article some of the Uruguayan philosopher Carlos Vaz Ferreira's main epistemological ideas are presented. Among them we can find his methodological approach to problem thinking, the human possibility to know, as well as the reachable degrees of certainty. In addition, the philosopher’s appreciation of the relationship between language, the outside world reality and the subject's inside reality is shared. Some concepts created by the Uruguayan philosopher are introduced in the text.
